It has been nearly two years in Ghana. I now have 20 dedicated customers. By dedicated I mean they are not occasional overseas customers (of which I have many).
It has been an interesting two years. Have been pretty lazy in getting a site to start the salon, but in 2010 this is going to change. Look out for the new hot spot!!! A complete sanctuary for sisterlocks. It is bound to be spectacular!!!!
The highlight of the year - Ayana Gouch had nearly 10 inches of hair. It took three days of locking, sweating and bum numbness. But the end result was amazing. A look she completely loved. She's moved back to the United States.
The low point of the year - My client Aarkor cut off her locks. She traveled to Canada for nearly a year and just could not make time to retighten her hair. It is now in a perm and I am heartbroken.
My target for 2010 are to open the Salon and host a natural hair show and exhibition.

Go Girl! Really proud of you. More grease to your elbows. Definately on your customer list for the natural hair styles and know a lot of people who will be ecstatic as well.
